September 23, 2008: Schreiner University -
the SU Women's Issues Committee and Panhellenic are joining LWV KA to offer a public education forum:  "My Vote is My Voice Being Heard:  Women's Issues in the 2008 Presidential Election."   All SU women will be polled the week of September 2nd - 5th to find out the top four issues the university women are most concerned about in this year's election.  SU faculty will make a 4-5 minute presentation on each issue and why it matters particularly to women.  LWV is recruiting representatives from each political party to share where each presidential candidate stands on particular issues.

Initially formed in 1979 and recognized as a local Legue in 1983.
