Voter guides available for March 3 Texas primaries

Lynn Walker, Wichita Falls Times Record News | Published on 2/6/2026

The League of Women Voters of Texas is providing voters guides for the March 3 party primary elections.

Feb. 17-27 are early voting days in Texas. Election Day, March 3, is also the last day for vote by mail ballots to be received in county voting offices.

Billed as nonpartisan, the guides are available online at VOTE411.org and LWVTexas.org.

"Texas voters can enter their address to view the races and candidates appearing on their ballot, compare candidates' responses to unbiased questions prepared by the League, and create a personalized ballot to take to the polls," the group said in a press release.

The media release also said the information will be available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Chinese with English and Spanish editions distributed to libraries, food banks and other locations across the state.

“The upcoming primary elections are extremely important for Texas,” Joyce LeBombard, president of the League of Women Voters of Texas, said. “We strongly encourage all Texans to learn about the candidates and participate in one of the primaries or conventions.”

The release said the league does not support or oppose political parties or candidates, and all candidates appearing on the ballot for both party primaries are invited to participate in the guide.
