AUSTIN, TX — Ahead of the 2026 Primary Election, the League of Women Voters of Texas has released its nonpartisan 2026 Primary Election Voters Guide, available online at VOTE411.org and at LWVTexas.org.
Through VOTE411, Texas voters can enter their address to view the races and candidates appearing on their ballot, compare candidates’ responses to unbiased questions prepared by the League, and create a personalized ballot to take to the polls. The site also allows voters to check their registration status, find polling locations and hours, and access information on local races and candidate forums when a local League is present.
To ensure the Guide reaches as many voters as possible, LWV Texas is offering the information in multiple formats and languages. VOTE411.org presents information on statewide races in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Chinese. In addition, printable, web-friendly PDF versions of the Voters Guide will be available in all four languages at LWVTexas.org. Printed English and Spanish editions of the Guide will be distributed to more than 260 libraries, food banks, and community locations across Texas.
With many Texas districts heavily favoring one political party, primary elections often determine who will represent the state in Congress and who will govern Texas. Through the combined efforts of the League of Women Voters of Texas and local Leagues, all congressional and state legislative races across the state are covered in the 2026 Primary Election Voters Guide.
“The upcoming primary elections are extremely important for Texas,” said Joyce LeBombard, president of the League of Women Voters of Texas. “We strongly encourage all Texans to learn about the candidates and participate in one of the primaries or conventions.”
Publishing the trusted, nonpartisan Voters Guide is central to the League’s mission of empowering voters and defending democracy. The League does not support or oppose political parties or candidates, and all candidates appearing on the ballot for both party primaries are invited to participate in the Guide.
“We urge our fellow Texans to use this resource,” LeBombard added. “And we encourage our supporters and partner organizations to share the Voters Guide with their communities across Texas.”
