    • American Lung Association believes all people are entitled to breathe healthy air and to be free of the adverse health effects of indoor and outdoor pollution.  A detailed statement of public policy is published on their website. It includes the Lung Associations positions on climate change, environmental justice and the clean air act.
    • Citizens Climate Lobby is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots organization urging Congress to pass The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, H.R. 763.  The organization promotes the “concept of carbon pricing as a market-based approach to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and manage the economic, health and national security risks of climate change.”
    • Environment Texas is a citizen-based environmental advocacy project of Environment America.  It defends the Texas environment through tough-minded advocacy and aggressive grassroots action.  It follows the progress of on-going state legislation and lobbies in support of important environmental issues.
    • Texas Campaign for the Environment engages is grassroots campaigns that attempt to shift corporate and governmental policies that focus primarily on recycling and sustainability practices.  The organization is particularly active in Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth and Houston.
    • U. S. Climate Alliance is a bipartisan coalition of governors committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions consistent with the goals of the Paris Agreement.  Through smart, coordinated state action, the United States will continue to contribute to the global effort to address climate change.
