About this event
#OnThisDay in 1924, Coolidge signed the Indian Citizenship Act (also known as the Snyder Act), which granted all Native Americans citizenship and the right to vote regardless of tribal affiliation. As history has shown, having the right to vote does not always equate to having the ability to vote.
